Position: Clinical Outpatient Specialist

Description of Position: This position is based out of a variety of Outpatient locations within the Human Services, Inc. footprint. The Clinical Outpatient Specialist functions under the supervision of the Clinical Program Manager. The Clinical Outpatient Specialist should demonstrate detailed working knowledge of all clinical programs within the agency umbrella while providing outpatient therapy in all areas of the Human Services, Inc. footprint.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy within all outpatient settings including but not limited to the following locations and programs:
- 50 James Buchanan Drive, Thorndale, PA
- Octorara School District
- 2717 Baltimore Pike, Oxford, PA
- 255 Reeceville Road, Coatesville, PA (if needed)
- Mobile Therapy
- DBT – Thorndale Office
- Maintain all records, progress notes, treatment plans, progress reviews, insurance authorization forms, and change of status forms to meet regulations. Standard=100%
- Provide ancillary case management support to all clients on caseload as needed.
- Complete all required in-service training yearly: HIPAA, Fraud & Abuse, Cultural Diversity, Recovery Model, Complaint & Appeal Process, Incident Management, Positive Approaches, Child Abuse/Adult Abuse, Infection Control. Actively participate in outpatient staff meetings.
- Attend continuing education, and participate in evidence based, best practice initiatives as required.
- Act as backup for Outpatient staff as needed.
- Submit mileage and expense reimbursement forms by the 5th day of each month.
- Complete applicable licensure requirements within 2 to 6 years of becoming eligible to pursue certification.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Clinical Administrator/Coordinator and or Clinical Program Manager.
The following clearances are required: FBI/Child Abuse History/PA Criminal History/PA Driver’s License. Employees must maintain a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
